So this Friday Grant and I packed up our car and drove to Nashville, my sister Kira’s was graduating with her Masters in Business Administration. We are all so proud of her, and I know she is super happy that her schooling is done.
This is one of those dishes that I LOVE LOVE LOVE, Grant is weird about textures but even if something isn’t his favorite as long as there are no peas I don’t get any complaints especially since he didn’t have to cook. Â I always get this soup at Olive Garden, and I think this is delicious. Grant thinks it is good, but he just isn’t a HUGE soup person. Anyway, this recipe is super easy and you can make it either in a stock pot on the stove or in a crock pot.
There are some recipe that I feel are family staples, it is not that we make them all the time, but ones that get requested over and over again. This is our version of beef stroganoff that I think my sister Kira gave me, and it is in a crock pot. If you can dice an onion, you have the hardest part of this recipe figured out.
Grant and I were lucky enough to be able to go to Simon and Sarah’s House for Thanksgiving. Of course they were amazing hosts, and it was a ton of fun. Sarah is a great cook and it was really nice to be hosted and visit them since they normally came and visited us. It was also fun seeing where they live since that is a part of South Carolina Grant and I had never been to.
Since Grant and I moved I still feel like we are here for a prolonged visit, not that I don’t like it here; it just doesn’t feel permanent yet. Time has been dragging and flying by at all the same time. The first few weeks were crazy because of how unorganized they were, and how much we needed to get done in such a short time. Now that are our weekends aren’t completely filled with unpacking it has been lots of fun. We have visited a church a few times and even visited their young married’s care group. One of the girls there is named Jessica and later I found out her married last name is Grasham which I found kinda creepy having NEVER met someone with completely the same name as me. Anyway, I feel like it is Birthday season right now and the Holidays are fast approaching and Grant and I are still trying to figure out what we are doing for each of them.
