You know you are behind in blogging when your sister who has 4 kids at home, and your sister in law who is pregnant, has a newborn, and a four year old at home blog before you!  So I am slowly going to try and catch up! My only excuse is we have been super busy, sick off and on, and having to deal with crazy work schedules and stress for Grant.  This year, we got to go to Nashville for Easter which was very laid back but a lot of fun!

For the last few months, Grant and I have been eating the same breakfast almost everyday. If I am making him a warm breakfast, Grant will eat almost anything without complaint since he isn’t doing the work. This breakfast has just been hitting the spot for me since it is really filling, isn’t bad for you, and has a little bit of a sweet taste to it. Below are my step by step directions for making French Toast Scramble.
I just wanted to post some of the last pictures of the Ladies Tea that I got to attend. After painting my tea pots, I had to get together all of the decorations for the tables. I already had the water cups, creamer/sugar containers, silverware, placemats, napkins, and the vase for the center of the table.
I was excited to attend the Ladies Tea for the first time at our church. They were asking for people to volunteer to make some food for the event which is how this whole thing started. I emailed asking what food they needed only to be asked to decorate a table. Having never attended this event, I had no clue what to expect or how the other tables would look. I asked for more guidelines and hit two large hitches. I needed to provide my own china and 2 teapots among lots of other things. I don’t own china or 2 teapots. I emailed a lot of the girls here in the area I knew and found one lady willing to let me borrow her china, but no one I knew had one, let alone two teapots.
I was super lucky to be contacted again by eShakti to do another review on one of their dresses. I got to pick which one, and this time I decided to try a sleeveless one since I don’t have one of those from them. If I ever get asked to review another one, I am hoping to get a sheath dress. I have very extreme proportions, and so getting one that actually fits my hips would be awesome!
Grant and I have been making our own laundry detergent for the past 3 years now. We both really like it, and let me tell you, Grant is super picky about laundry detergent. We make one batch once a year and then slowly use it up. Below are the ingredients and instructions that you need to make it.
