Grant and I love lasagna! Â It is a go to meal and I think this is what Grant wanted at this last birthday as the meal of choice! I should start adding spinach or mushrooms, but this recipe is just so good as it is we never have looked to improve it! This recipe is baked in the oven, but I want to try a crock pot version eventually, I don’t see how it wouldn’t work.
First, preheat oven to 350°f. Brown meat.
Drain meat, stir in spaghetti sauce and add water to empty jar completely and stir into mixture. Stir until blended.
Mix egg, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and parsley; set aside.
Spread 1 cup of sauce on the bottom of pan, layer 3 uncooked lasagna noodles and then 1/3 of the ricotta spread, and then 1 cup of sauce.
 Repeat layers.
 Top with remaining sauce.
 Top  off with cheeses.
Cover with foil, and bake 45 mins.
Remove foil and bake for 15 mins.
Then let it cool for 15 mins. before serving.
Serve and Enjoy! The full recipe below is for a 9×13. I make this dish in two 8×8 pans since there are only two of us. One I bake with the directions above, and the other I put into the freezer for a later time. It is such a simple, great recipe that I got from the kraft magazines when they first were free!
