In September, we flew to Ohio for Grant’s Cousin’s Wedding. It was a very short trip, but it was still a lot of fun. I won’t caption all of these pictures because most are very self explanatory, and just a warning that this post will be very picture heavy so enjoy!
I thought it would be fun to do a Day in the Life of me post since I know once the baby arrives it will all change. This is our current routine that we follow most days, some days I’m super productive others I’m a lazy bum so this is all relative.
I am wanting to sew myself a family advent calendar. I haven’t decided which one to make yet,but below are some of my favorites! Some have tutorials, and some are ones that can be purchased as is. I remember loving the Advent calendars that I grew up with. I’m leaning toward the second one. I just want one that I can reuse yearly. I Â might change my opinion later and make another one,but there is nothing wrong with that. Â I am already getting excited about the holidays. If you like Pentatonix (an all acapella group that does a modern twist with their songs,) you can listen to their Christmas album for free here!
I know I am going to be playing catch up on some of these posts from a while back, but I figured better late than never. Kira and Andrew were kind enough to invite us to their house for Labor Day. Wayne, Jolene, Kelly, and Eric were also there which was a nice time to see them again.
Grant and I are excited to announce that I will be adding an additional job to my workload. It will be a pretty demanding, time intensive position, but I have heard it will also be rewarding as well. The job’s title is Director of Operations where I will work closely with an associate on a daily basis. I know that I won’t get many breaks or get paid anything at all,but I am very excited about this new challenge, and how it will grow our family.
I thought this was a cool video, of what maybe to come.
Our little associate is due May 18th, 2015. 🙂
Wow! Talk about not blogging for a while! We have had lots of traveling, Grant working overtime, and some much needed vegging sessions. Honestly, I have loved that so far, but I do miss sharing our lives with family that aren’t living close to us. So, in August we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. I still cannot believe that we have been married this long. Sometimes Grant and I just look at each other and remind ourselves that we are, in fact married. Since we were such good friends before getting married, sometimes it feels like we are still just great friends stillĂ‚Â together and stillĂ‚Â having fun. I really pray that this continues for us! We have been so blessed in our marriage and with everything that God has given us from our families, friends, jobs, and of course each other.
