Easiest Way to Clean Soap Scum

For the last few years, we have been having issues with getting our glass shower doors to look clean. My husband and I have been trying everything from straight bleach, vinegar and dish soap, regular shower cleaners, lemon and baking soda, and anything we could find. We use a squeegee after every shower to help with build up, but we just weren’t happy with any of the results. I was recently watching a youtube video, and the lady showed how she used ashes to clean glass shower doors as well as other areas in her house.

Dish Detergent

There are some things that I have decided to make myself rather than buying,but wanted to try them before I post about them. At our apartment we have an old dishwasher that doesn’t even have a “dry Jet” slot. We really don’t have an issue with things being cloudy or not clean, I just don’t like paying crazy high prices for things. So below is the tutorial and recipe for dish detergent. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it cleans just as well as the other dish deteregents that I normally use. I normally use anything that I can get cheap so sometimes liquid, sometimes powder.
